AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Those auditioning for ENSEMBLE, VANESSA, DANIELA, CARLA, SONNY, GRAFFITI PETE, USNAVI, BENNY, or NINA will need to attend the Movement Workshop on Friday night.

Those auditioning for MR. ROSARIO, MRS. ROSARIO, ABUELA CLAUDIA, PIRAGUA GUY will be asked to learn a short piece of choreography from an instructional video and present it in the Solo Audition.

MOVEMENT WORKSHOP
Auditionees will attend as a group to learn and perform a section of choreography from the show. – Please come prepared with water, a towel, dance shoes (if you have them), and clothing you can move in.

SOLO AUDITIONS
Auditionees will be required to:

• Perform a song from the show as per the auditions requirements page.
• Learn and perform the dialogue associate with the role you are auditioning for.
• Either attend Movement Workshop, or learn and perform choreography by video.
• Talk to the panel about your cultural background, and why you connect with In the Heights.

REHEARSALS
First Get Together/Mihi Whakatau – 10.30am, May 3, 2025
Otherwise rehearsing every Tues and Thurs evening 7-9.30pm
Every Sunday – half day

SEASON
9-23 August, 2025
